Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

I am in-network with Aetna and Cigna, and if you have something other than these, I can provide a Superbill for you to use with your insurance for Out of Network benefits. I can also accept a Health Savings Account (HSA) card. For more information on insurance and fees, you can go here.

How long are sessions?

Sessions typically last 55-60 minutes. You can schedule for longer if you would like. For more information on what sessions are like, you can go here.

How long will therapy be needed?

Hmmmm... tough question. It really depends on the person, what type of issues they want to work and how in depth they want to work on them.

Is what I say confidential?

ABSOLUTELY! Nothing leaves my office. By law, I'm required to inform someone if you plan to hurt yourself or someone else. I'll also need to report if a child, dependent adult or elder is being abused. Other than that, my lips are sealed!

Cost?

If you should choose to pay out-of-pocket, the fee is $140. If this isn't affordable for you, I will help you figure out a number of sessions that might work in your budget, or I can make a referral for you. For more information on cost, you can go here.

What if I don't feel like we can work together?

No problem at all. Each person needs a different type of therapist. If we speak on the phone OR meet a time or 2 and you would like to look elsewhere, no hard feelings. I can help you find the right person.

What are your office hours?

I work 10am - 5pm on Monday, 1pm - 6pm on Tuesday, 10am - 3pm on Wednesday, and 11am - 5pm on Thursday. I do a mix of telehealth and in-person sessions.

Where are you located?

My office is located inside 6900 Tavistock Lakes Blvd, Orlando, FL 32827, Suite 400.

Are you offering telehealth?

Yes! Right now, I'm doing both in person and telehealth sessions.

What is your cancellation policy?

I ask for 24 hours notice for cancellations. If it's less than 24 hours, I do charge a full session cancellation fee.

I'm ready to get started. What should I do?

I'm glad to hear it! First step would be to fill out a form and I will then contact you by phone or email for a consultation. If you'd like more detailed information on the process, you can go here.
