Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

I am in-network with Aetna, Cigna, and United, and if you have something other than these, I can provide a Superbill for you to use with your insurance for Out of Network benefits. I can also accept a Health Savings Account (HSA) card. For more information on insurance and fees, you can visit the Fees page.

How long are sessions?

Sessions typically last 55-60 minutes. You can schedule for longer if you would like. For more information on what sessions are like, you can visit the What to Expect page.

How long will therapy be needed?

Some people find real progress within 8-12 sessions. Others prefer ongoing work. We'll check in regularly and you'll always know where we are.

Is what I say confidential?

ABSOLUTELY! Nothing leaves my office. By law, I'm required to inform someone if you plan to hurt yourself or someone else. I'll also need to report if a child, dependent adult or elder is being abused. Other than that, my lips are sealed!

Cost?

If you should choose to pay out-of-pocket, the fee is $140. If this isn't affordable for you, I will help you figure out a number of sessions that might work in your budget, or I can make a referral for you. For more information on cost, you can visit the Fees page.

What if I don't feel like we can work together?

No problem at all. Each person needs a different type of therapist. If we speak on the phone OR meet a time or 2 and you would like to look elsewhere, no hard feelings. I can help you find the right person.

What are your office hours?

I work 1pm - 7pm on Tuesday, 9am - 2pm on Wednesday, 9am - 5pm on Thursday, and 9am - 5pm on Friday. I do a mix of telehealth and in-person sessions.

Where are you located?

My office is located inside 6900 Tavistock Lakes Blvd, Orlando, FL 32827, Suite 400.

Are you offering telehealth?

Yes! Right now, I'm doing both in person and telehealth sessions.

What is your cancellation policy?

I ask for 24 hours notice for cancellations. If it's less than 24 hours, I do charge a full session cancellation fee.

I'm ready to get started. What should I do?

I'm glad to hear it! First step would be to fill out a form and I will then contact you by phone or email for a consultation. If you'd like more detailed information on the process, you can visit the What to Expect page.
